Bilic will start with the same team that saved his job if history is anything to go by.
For what it's worth I think 3 CBs is fucking shit and encourages is to lump it up to Carroll. It's negative and fuck knows what we'll do when he's injured next week.

Good! You play well you keep the shirt!
If not working at half time change it! Bring on Arnie/Ayew/Sakho

should always be this message - you get dropped and then you have to wait for your chance again
to many are guaranteed starters - and often play like they know that they are

I'd like to see a 3-4-2-1 with Hernandez playing off Carroll's shoulder as in Antonio and Carroll playing behind Hernandez

Hart Zabalata Reid Collins Antonio Obiang Kouyate Cresswell Hernedez Arnie Sakho
I would like to see Rice play in a deep role instead of Kouyate but it won't happen. WBA play one up front so having 4 defenders is a waste, effectively we have six around the midfield with more pace to attack their pedestrian midfield of which Barry is one

When will Lanzini be back?
Tough game tomorrow, hopefully we can earn a draw. Same line up as Monday for me.

I hate to say it, but l agree we should keep it the same. It is just far to defensive, really no midfield we will need to agian push up so high that we do not need a midfield. Front 3 is great though, more goals please. Hammers

We will soon have that player in the shape of Declan Rice. He's getting there but isn't the finished article yet. Expect him to start against Bolton.

You play well, you keep the shirt!
That should be the message to the whole team!
Unless injury you start with the team that won on Monday, not working at halftime/60 mins then change it.

We need to keep same team in my opinion.
We are not yet confident enough or good enough to do anything else.
With Bilic we will never be able to do anything else because it requires him to be able to set up a team to attack whilst not leaving the team wide open at the back. He has shown repeatedly that he is incapable of doing that.

Exactly. The last time we had a solid tackling, reliable, defensive midfielder who could place a pass was when we had Alex Song (until his form went after injury)
That is why so many of us were disappointed not to get Carvalho over the line. He would have been perfect
In the meantime, as you say, we simply do not have anyone reliable enough to be able to hold the ball without losing it in our own half, and to be able to pass it accurately to one of our own players!
Neither do we have any CH's capable of carrying the ball forward out of defence without losing it
For those reasons alone, a quick forward pass out of defence is easily our best option with the players we have. That's not to say we can't play some nice passing football in the final third!

We played 4 at the back, and our defending was a joke that day. We were lucky to be 0-3 at half time.
If Monday night wasn't a lesson we should be playing 3 at the back considering we've been shipping goals left, right and centre, then I don't know what is?

Tough game this one, as others have said we will struggle if we play into Pulis's hands, not sure how we approached it last year but I know we were 4 down by half time, if any lessons can be learned from that.

Agree. Would love us to do that but our squad lacks a few players ( especially central midfield) to make that possible.
Lets just hope the effort and intensity ( aka performance) is there as on Monday even though quality may be in short supply.
